About the artist

Hello! I am Mya D. Rojas, an artist based in Toronto, Canada. I spent the pandemic doing a Certification in the Foundations of Art and Design in George Brown College (had to pass the time somehow, right?), and with that under my belt, I was able to get into OCAD University! Currently, I’m about to graduate with a Bachelor's in Design, and will be exhibiting my work in May, along with many other students, in the university’s very own exhibition showcase, GradEx.

I like to get my hands dirty and test every kind of art form out there. I’ve been busy making jewellery, sculpting critters, painting friends and family, creating silly animations on social media, and perfecting my pieces for my upcoming exhibition. I’ve created an adult storybook titled, “LOST” soon to be published this year, and will be continuing to work on more projects as the year goes on! This is only the beginning!! <3 ​​​
