About the artist

Mya D. Rojas is an illustrator and concept artist based in Toronto, Ontario. She grew up in a small town in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and moved back to Canada to pursue her ambitions of becoming an artist. She studied at George Brown College, gaining a Certification in the Foundations of Art and Design, before graduating from OCAD University with a Bachelor’s in Design.

 

Her work is focused on creating immersive worlds and narratives, and is inspired by the fantastical and whimsical within everyday life and nature. She can create stories and characters with just an idea, and if you let her, she’ll get carried away and turn one small thing into a whole project.
